Itinerary:
Saturday
Depart Leyland at 11.30hrs for our journey to Hull to board the late afternoon, overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Enjoy dinner, shopping and entertainment onboard before retiring to your cabin.
Sunday
Following breakfast onboard, disembark and re-join the coach for our journey to the overnight hotel in Stuttgart, Germany with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Tonight at the hotel, relax and enjoy dinner.
Monday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast to continue our journey to Italy, admiring the beautiful views along the way. Arrive at Hotel Portici to a warm Italian welcome with a drink while your luggage is taken from the coach to reception. This evening enjoys a set 3-course dinner.
Tuesday - Friday
Enjoy a day of free time at the hotel and explore Riva del Garda, perhaps take a boat ride, hire a bike, relax in a pavement café and watch the world go by, visit the harbour or shop in the wonderful boutiques in the vicinity of the hotel.
Today following breakfast to travel to Verona, the wonderful, historic city famed as the setting for Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' and renowned for its Roman Amphitheatre. Enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace and to obtain lunch in one of the may wonderful restaurants and pavement cafes.
Today we meet our English-speaking guide who will join us on the coach for a full-day guided tour of the Dolomites, a spectacular UNESCO World Heritage mountain range, famous for jagged pale limestone peaks, alpine meadows and turquoise lakes, a wonderful area of scenic artists towns and unspoilt, dramatic landscapes.
Today following breakfast, we take a lakeside journey to visit the beautiful lakeside resort of Torbole, and the small historic town of Sirmione located on the tip of a long peninsula protruding from the southern shore of the lake.
Saturday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, sadly it's time to bid farewell to our Italian hosts and beautiful Italy. Relax and enjoy the Alpine views as we travel back to Stuttgart for our overnight stay with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arriving in time for dinner.
Sunday
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast for our journey to Rotterdam with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Board the overnight ferry to Hull. Enjoy dinner, shopping and entertainment onboard before retiring to your cabin.
Monday
Following breakfast onboard, disembark and re-join the coach for our journey home.

| About the hotel | The completely renovated Hotel Portici is in a great location in Riva del Garda’s largest square just 30 metres from the lake shore. Located in a historic manor house surrounded by pretty boutiques and winding streets. The picturesque harbour is a 2-minute walk, from here you can book boat trips on the lake, the hotel is 1km from the beach. Guest bedrooms are spacious, contemporary rooms, decorated in neutral tones, a haven in which to relax following a busy day exploring.
