Itinerary
Saturday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for our journey to Llandudno with a lunch stop in historic Chester en-route.
Sunday
Full day - following a leisurely breakfast join the coach for a scenic journey through Snowdonia National Park with stops in Betws-y-Coed, Blaneau Ffestiniog and Beddgelert along the way.
Monday
Half day - todays excursion takes us to visit the Welsh gem St Asaph on the River Elwy, granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II as part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012. St Asaph is all about the Cathedral dating from the 13th century, dominating the street around it. Followed by a visit to the historic market town of Denbigh, overlooking the breathtaking Vale of Clwyd, once home of princes and earls, rebels and revolutionaries, perhaps explore the castle and walk the walls or relax in one of the traditional pubs. Allowing time for lunch and to explore, returning to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Tuesday
Full day - following breakfast join us as we journey along the coast road to Portmeirion Village, created by architect Clough Williams-Ellis, featuring Italianate buildings, beautiful gardens and magnificent coastal views.

Free day of leisure in Llandudno.
Thursday
Free day of leisure in Llandudno.
Friday
Half day - Following a leisurely breakfast join the coach to visit Bangor, today is market day in the oldest city in Wales. The city beautifully located between Snowdonia and the glistening waters of the Menai Strait. Perhaps visit the cathedral, Storiel Museum and Art Gallery or take a stroll on Garth Pier to admire the views of the Menai Strait and across to Anglesey. Allowing time for lunch and to explore, returning to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Saturday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home, with a lunch stop in Ruthin en-route.
