Book NowJoin us as we head to Kensington for our London Short Break tour, with the freedom of bed and breakfast, the choice of gastronomic delights of London awaits you. Stay at a modern 4-star hotel in a wonderfully convenient location for exploring central London with an underground station and regular bus service minutes from the hotel. For those wishing to stay closer to the hotel, Kensington High Street is an excellent, bustling shopping destination offering a much more relaxed, affluent atmosphere compared to the intense crowds of Oxford Street. The area is great for museums and the arts with the V&A, Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace and the Royal Albert Hall all less than a 30 mins walk from the hotel. For foodies some of the best pubs and restaurants are just off the High Street or head to Kensington Church Street, less than 10 mins walk from the hotel, running between Kensington and Notting Hill, this hidden gem is lined on both sides with wonderful shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. On this short break the choice is yours.

Itinerary:
Friday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Kensington with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at the Holiday Inn, Kensington at 15.00hrs for an early check-in. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure. Perhaps explore the area, Friday is late night closing (21.30hrs) at the V&A which is a 25/30mins walk from the hotel. There are convenient transport links close to the hotel for those that wish to venture into Central London. Choose from the great foodie scene in the area and for those wishing to relax and not venture out there is a restaurant at the hotel (booking advisable).
N.B As there is no porterage at the hotel you may wish to take a smaller case.
Saturday
Day of leisure to explore Kensington and the surrounding area. The coach will be departing the hotel at 10.00hrs this morning for anyone wishing to go into Central London, the coach will drop at Tothill Street or Victoria Embankment both convenient locations for visiting the attractions of Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Chinatown, Soho and the West End. Coach will pick passengers up again at 18.00hrs to return to Kensington. If you wish to make your own way back to the hotel, please advise your driver.
Sunday
Check out of the hotel following breakfast, before our return journey home we have a few hours at Covent Garden, perhaps visit the London Transport Museum, browse the historic market and boutiques, watch the street entertainers or find somewhere delicious for lunch. For something a little quieter, iconic Neals Yard is a lovely area to visit, London's most colourful hidden courtyard is just a 5 mins walk from Covent Garden. Expect an array of independent cafes, wine bars and restaurants plus the globally known flagship, Neal's Yard Remedies. Coach departs Covent Garden at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
