Our base Torquay is one of the top trending holiday destinations, famous for its Mediterranean feel with palm trees, beaches and horseshoe bay, wander the busy harbour and marina with continental style cafes. During our stay journey through beautiful South Devon coast and countryside dotted with picturesque villages, vibrant colourful towns and bustling harbours. Take a journey to the edge of Dartmoor National Park to visit stunning Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks, beautifully nestled in a picture-perfect valley with magnificent grounds, gardens and Abbey Church to explore.

Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Torquay with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm welcome while your bag is taken to your room.
Monday
Free day in Torquay to explore and relax at the hotel. The coach is available to drop those not wishing to walk into Torquay, coach will depart at 10.00hrs and return to Torquay for pick up at 15.30hrs.
Tuesday
Morning visit to Brixham with time to explore and obtain lunch, depart Brixham at 14.00hrs to return to the hotel with time to relax or take a coastal walk.
Wednesday
Morning visit to Newton Abbot on market day with time to obtain lunch. In the afternoon visit Buckfast Abbey on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, enjoy a visit to the Abbey church and beautiful grounds and gardens as they burst to life to welcome spring, includes Monastic Way Exhibition which tells the story of Benedictine Monastic life from its origins to present day return to the hotel via Totnes.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
