Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 10am for our journey to Llandrindod Wells with a lunch stop in Oswestry en-route
Tuesday - Thursday
Free time in the resort with the following excursions:
Today we head to Aberystwyth for a journey on the Rheidol Railway to Devils Bridge, we have an hour here before heading back to Aberystwyth for some free time before returning to the hotel
Today we head firstly to Llanfair for our single rail journey on the Welshpool and Llanfair Railway to Welshpool, we arrive in Welshpool for a few hours at leisure before heading for a visit to the medieval fortress of Powis Castle, sitting high above its world-famous garden.
This morning, we head to the Elan Valley Visitor Centre. Part of the rugged Cambrian Mountains, Elan is a beautiful and unspoilt area made even more compelling by the great feats of engineering, the dams, along with the reservoirs they create a wonderful, living landscape. The views are breath-taking and you are never far away from points of interest. In the afternoon return back to Llandrindod Wells for time at leisure.
