Itinerary:
Wednesday
Depart Leyland at 09.30hrs for our journey to the 4-star Abbey Hotel in Malvern with a lunch stop at the National Memorial Arboretum en-route, depart the NMA at 14.00hrs, continue our journey and arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits while your case is taken to your room. In the evening there will be a delicious, welcome 3-course dinner.
Thursday (New Years Eve)
Following breakfast this morning's excursion enjoys a pleasant drive along the Malvern Hills to Hereford, with its magnificent cathedral. Take time to explore the city and its interesting ancient alleyways allowing time for lunch before head back to Malvern early afternoon. Take time to relax at the hotel, perhaps wrap up and enjoy a walk or explore Malvern before preparing for this evening's New Years Eve celebrations, enjoy a champagne reception with canapes, a five-course dinner and live musical entertainment, take to the dance floor to dance the night away into the small hours to see in 2027 with a bang. Friday (New Years Day)
Today following a leisurely breakfast our excursion takes us on a gentle circular drive via Tewkesbury, Evesham and Pershore continuing our journey to visit Worcester, with time to explore the wonderful cathedral city on the banks of the River Severn, allowing time to obtain lunch in one of its cosy pubs or cafes, perhaps visit the shops and grab yourself a New Years bargain (Please note that not everywhere will be open New Years Day, if you wish to shop or eat somewhere in particular please check opening hours first, it is advisable to book tables for food in advance as tables will be in demand). Depart Worcester mid-afternoon to return to the hotel to relax before our evening meal
Friday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast for the return journey home with as lunch stop in Lichfield Staffordshire en-route.
