Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Newcastle with a visit to Locomotion Shildon en-route. Arrive at the Copthorne to welcome tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday - Thursday
Free day in Newcastle with the following excursions:
Morning visit to Woodhorn Mining Museum in Ashington followed by an afternoon visit to Morpeth.
Visit to Bishop Auckland, home of Prince Bishops with a meet and greet and visit to Auckland Castle, Gardens and the Faith Museum, enjoy free time to explore and obtain lunch.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast with a visit to historic Durham with time to explore and obtain lunch re-join the coach at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
