Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Newquay in Cornwall with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arriving late afternoon at the 4-star Esplanade Hotel to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Following breakfast today's excursion takes us to Falmouth the maritime town steeped in history offering a vibrant mix of independent shops, many clustered on its bustling high street, browse a great mix of fashion boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. Enjoy your packed lunch provided by the hotel as you explore. Falmouth thrives year-round with a lively atmosphere, making it a destination for all seasons. Re-join the coach at 13.30hrs as we return to the hotel with time to relax before our evening meal.
Wednesday
Following breakfast join the coach for our excursion to St Ives. Winter is a great time to visit, the summer crowds have vanished allowing for quiet beach walks, moody coastal scenery and a relaxed, artistic atmosphere. Enjoy the town's pubs, cafes, and galleries without the crazy summer bustle. Enjoy your packed lunch provided by the hotel today, however if you can't resist you won't have to look far for a proper Cornish pasty or Cornish cream tea. Re-join the coach at 14.000hrs as we return to the hotel with time to relax before our evening meal.
Thursday
Today chill out and relax and enjoy a day of leisure at the hotel, perhaps make use of the hotel's wonderful leisure facilities, explore Newquay, wrap up warm and take a walk on Fistral Beach, from sandy beaches to rugged cliffs, Newquay offers some of the best coastal walks in Cornwall. Today the choice is yours. A hot buffet lunch is included at the hotel today.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
