Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for our journey to Newcastle with a lunch stop in Hexham en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome, enjoy tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Enjoy free time in the city today, the choice is yours today with wonderful places waiting to be discovered.
Wednesday
Our excursion today takes us to Beamish, the open-air museum of the north, take unlimited, complimentary heritage bus and tram rides around the site as you journey through the eras, a wonderful day out with new attractions being added all the time.
Thursday
Today our guide will join us onboard the coach from the hotel as we journey into the North East on a Northern Secrets tour with visits to Wallington House and Gardens and Cragside.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a lunch stop and visit en-route to Locomotion in Shildon, get up close to incredible engineering feats in the World's first railway town, discover the exciting story from the earliest days of rail with a brand new 47-vehicle collections building making it the biggest undercover collection of rail vehicles in Europe.
