Included in our stay at the fabulous 4-star Palace Hotel is a wonderful food, drink and entertainment package with use of the superb leisure club facilities at your disposal throughout your stay. Spend free time in the compact city of Inverness, capital and gateway to the Highlands, easy to explore on foot and steeped in history since its Pictish origins. We’ve carefully selected wonderful attractions to enhance our tour with visits to magnificent Brodie Castle and a Loch Ness Cruise allowing us to make the most of the magnificent Scottish scenery, majestic mountains, wonderful history and unique wildlife of the area.

Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey to Inverness with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Monday
Today we have a day of leisure to enjoy the hotel and explore Inverness, lunch will be provided at the hotel today and don't forget your afternoon tea with cream scones, tea/coffee in the lounge.
Tuesday
Take a scenic journey along the banks of the Moray Firth through gentle Moray countryside to discover the magnificent turreted Brodie Castle. Step back in time on a guided tour to the castle's glory days when the Brodie's were one of Scotland's most prominent families, explore the Playful Garden and witness the magnificent, carpeted display of over 100 varieties of daffodils as they welcome spring to the Brodie Estate. Picnic benches are available in the Playful Garden where you can enjoy your packed lunch provided by the hotel, return to the hotel in time for afternoon tea of cream scones, tea/coffee.
Wednesday
Travel from Inverness along the shores of Loch Ness to its most southern tip and the town of Fort Augustus with a stop at the Caledonian Canal Centre, perhaps explore the rich history of the Caledonian Canal or do some Nessie spotting while enjoying the magnificent views, grab a souvenir or enjoy some local Scottish produce before taking a Loch Ness Cruise, the perfect way to witness wildlife, sights and history of the famous loch, don't forget to see if you can spot Nessie. During our excursion today we have a packed lunch provided by the hotel to enjoy. Arrive back to the hotel for cream scones, tea/coffee mid-afternoon.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
