Itinerary:

Thursday
Depart Leyland at 06.00hrs for our journey to Dover with a suitable lunch stop en-route, take the short afternoon channel ferry crossing over to Calais in France with access to the Premium Lounge onboard enjoy sea-views from comfortable seating and stylish surroundings with all-inclusive food and beverages on offer including snack and treats. Re-join the coach as we disembark and continue our journey to the hotel where you'll receive a warm French welcome while you bag is taken to your room.

Friday
Today following breakfast, we head to the beautiful Chateau de Chantilly. Escape to the fairytale world of the Demaine de Chantilly created by immensely talented artisans and inspiration behind Versailles. Visit the romantic, moated castle with French style gardens. Explore Chantilly's museums and magnificent record-breaking stables, Chantilly is truly breathtaking. Admire the architectural jewel, wander the estates impressive pathways, be moved by the collections in the Musee Conde, second only to Paris's Louvre and explore the award-winning stables, a paradise for horse's and famous for excellence in dressage with a chance to meet some of its beautiful residents. Followed by a visit to the nearby town of Chantilly famous for lacework, porcelain and cream. Explore local specialist food shops including charcuterie, cheesemonger and pâtisseries, perhaps pick up something delicious up to take back to the hotel for this evening or have a meal in one of the towns cafes and restaurants. Don't walk past la Passion du chocolat, just follow your nose inside the shop, it's a real treat to discover a novel way to find out about the town's identity by working your way through a selection of chocolates, each one a symbol of Chantilly's heritage including the horse dropping and the stolen pink Chantilly diamond.

Saturday
Spend a morning and afternoon at leisure, perhaps relax at the hotel, enjoy a dip in the pool or head out early into Paris. Board the coach late afternoon to visit another beautiful chateau, Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte. Spend the evening exploring this magical estate by the flickering lights of 2,000 candles, with an illumination display of fireworks at the end of the night. A 3-couse dinner with a set menu is included at 19.00hrs. Feedback from our customers who visited Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte last year was unbelievable and some of the best we have ever seen, the evening was a total success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Sunday
Today we enjoy a visit to of the Palace and Gardens of Versailles considered to be one of the most magnificent achievements of 18th century French architecture and design. The awe-inspiring Hall of Mirrors and astonishingly beautiful palatial gardens are some of the wonderful highlights of France's most famous chateau. Your Passeport entrance to the Chateau de Versailles grants access to the entire estate including Palace, gardens, including Musical Garden, the coach gallery and the Trianon Estate, a place if intimacy and refuge for Queen Marie-Antoinette, Trianon opens at noon. Includes free time in the picturesque town of Versailles with time to explore and obtain a meal before returning to our hotel.

Monday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey back to Calais to board our ferry home with a suitable lunch stop en-route, re-join the coach as we disembark in Dover to continue our journey home.
