Drinks – from a selection of branded beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks as well as hot beverages including cappuccinos, coffees, lattes, hot chocolates and many more. Drinks are included from 3pm on arrival day and from 8.30am every day, until close of bars, and up to 10.30am on your departure day. Potters also carry a premium wines and spirits list, as chargeable alternatives to the popular brands that are included free.
N.B - Potters actively discourage irresponsible drinking therefore drinks with ultra-high Alcohol by Volume, such as Shots and Liquors, and highly caffeinated energy drinks, are not included free.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Potters Five Lakes Resort with suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
Enjoy a morning of leisure with time for lunch at the resort, join the coach following lunch for our excursion to Maldon on the Blackwater estuary, home to many remaining Thames Barges at Hythe Quay, less than a 10-minute walk from Maldon High Street. Historic Maldon is one of the oldest recorded towns in Essex, walk up the High Street to the crest of the town to discover brick façade buildings concealing medieval timber frames. Perhaps take a stroll along the award-winning promenade or just sit and take in the wonderful views.
Wednesday
Enjoy a day of leisure at the resort today to make the most of the facilities, activities, entertainment programme, food, and drinks.
Thursday
Enjoy a morning of leisure with time for lunch at the resort, in the afternoon visit Colchester, Britain's first city and former capital of Roman Britain with a history dating back over 2000 years, filled with first class visitor attractions and cultural sites. Perhaps take a stroll in Castle Park, the jewel in Colchester's crown, stroll through beautiful gardens or take a riverside walk, with Roman archaeological remains to be discovered. For history lovers perhaps visit Colchester Castle Museum, the largest Norman Keep in Europe, built on the vaults of the Roman temple of Claudius. Wander narrow lanes to discover a wealth of independent shops, cafes, and bars.

Check out of the resort following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route

Important Note: Our from price is for premier accommodation within the hotel and village, these rooms are spacious, comfortable, and scenic guest accommodation, village rooms are located in the grounds, upgraded rooms are also available at a supplement on request, chose from premier plus (hotel and village rooms) or deluxe accommodation within the hotel. Please note there are no ground floor rooms within the hotel. Village rooms are a short walk from the hotel with a small number of steps to negotiate, these are ground and first floor rooms. Porterage is provided for 1 case (not exceeding 20kg) per passenger, any hand luggage is the responsibility of the customer. |
