Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.00am for our journey to Newtonmore in Scotland with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at the hotel to a warm Scottish welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival.
Monday - Thursday
Full Day - Aviemore and Highland Wildlife. Following a leisurely breakfast join the coach at 10.00hrs as we travel to Aviemore, take time to explore and enjoy the scenery with time for lunch before an afternoon visit to the Highland Wildlife Park, take a safari drive through the home of famous Scottish Wildcats and many other interesting animals.
Full Day - Kyle of Lochalsh. Following breakfast join the coach as we head to Inverness, the Highland capital to join a Scotrail Train for one of the Great Rail Journeys of the World, the line to Kyle of Lochalsh. The rail journey takes you through some of the best scenery in the country, skirting lochs and passing remote villages. After a little free time in Kyle of Lochalsh re-join the coach to enjoy the return journey back to the hotel by road, via Shiel Bridge and Spean Bridge.
Full Day - Fort Willaim, Glenfinnan and Mallaig - following breakfast this excursion takes us southwest along the shores of Loch Laggan, through Glen Spean to Fort William, here we join the celebrated West Highland line to Mallaig. This spectacular line passes hidden lochs and inlets, silver sands and crosses the magnificent Glenfinnan Viaduct as it meanders on its way west. On arrival in Mallaig a major fishing port we have time to explore the town and enjoy the breathtaking scenery before we catch the train for the return journey to Fort William. Re-join the coach in Fort William for the journey back to the hotel.
Long half day - Loch Ness Cruise - following breakfast Loch Ness is our destination today. Travel through the unspoilt scenery past Loch Mhor and along Stratherrick to Fort Augustus, there will be time to obtain lunch before we enjoy our Loch Ness Cruise with commentary onboard. Returning to the hotel mid-afternoon to relax and enjoy the hotel and Newtonmore.

Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
