Discover the majesty of Windsor with a relaxing cruise on the River Thames from historic Runnymede, home of Magna Carta to Windsor. Visit RHS Garden Wisley, a treat for the senses, packed with horticultural inspiration, the magnificent, historic home of the RHS houses one of the largest plant collections in the world. Visit the Poppy Factory an integral part of Richmond since the 1920’s and learn of its marvelous story and the wonderful work they do, this ties in wonderfully with our visit at the end of the tour to the National Memorial Arboretum a beautiful, tranquil place that celebrates lives lived and commemorates lives lost.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to Shepperton with a lunch stop in Royal Leamington Spa en-route, departing at 13.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel. Arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
This morning following breakfast we visit the magnificent RHS Wisley, enjoy exploring the wonderful gardens, historic home to the RHS, explore the magnificent cathedral like glasshouse and the Laboratory to uncover the history behind Wisley, mid-afternoon we head into the vibrant town of Walton-on-Thames with time to explore or enjoy the riverbank and the marina.
Wednesday
This morning following a leisurely breakfast journey to Richmond, here we have free time to explore allowing time for lunch, later in the afternoon we visit The Poppy Factory and its Visitor Centre in Richmond, included is a wonderful, guided tour with tea/coffee and cake.
Thursday
Following a leisurely breakfast we travel to Runnymede, riverside site of the sealing of the Magna Carta where we will take a River Thames Cruise through beautiful countryside. Sit back, relax as we cruise upstream through Old Windsor Lock and the pretty villages of Old Windsor and Datchet, travelling through the grounds of Windsor Castle through Romney Lock to Windsor, enjoying historic sights and nature along the way. Disembark at Windsor Promenade, from here enjoy time to explore the historic town, allowing time for lunch or time for those who wish to visit Windsor Castle or explore the Great Park (admission to the Castle is not included).
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a lunch stop at the National Memorial Arboretum en-route. Depart the National Memorial Arboretum at 15.00hrs to continue our journey home.
