Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08.30am for our journey to Norwich with a suitable lunch stop en-route with a stop at RAF Cosford en-route, depart Cosford at 13.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Monday - Wednesday
Morning visit to Norwich with time for lunch, in the afternoon journey to the Broads with a stop in Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads before travelling to the beautiful village of Horning, enjoy time to explore before boarding a Mississippi paddle boat for a circular Norfolk Broads cruise passing picturesque, thatched cottages, windmills, and Norfolk Reed Beds, view the best of what the Broads is famous for from the water.
Following breakfast, we journey to Sandringham House and Gardens, discover the magnificence of the much-loved country-retreat of the British Royal Family, Visit rooms regularly used by the Royals, with décor and contents remaining much as they were in Edwardian times, uncover a wealth of history inside. Wander perhaps the finest of all Royal Gardens as they awaken for spring, the wonderful grounds developed by each monarch since 1863 when King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra purchased the estate.
Following breakfast travel to Norfolk's prettiest Georgian town, Holt, with time to explore before boarding the North Norfolk Railway for a journey to Sheringham where we will spend the afternoon with time for lunch. Once an old fishing village that heritage is still evident today in its museums and murals that decorate the promenade of this traditional seaside town.

Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop in en-route.

| About the hotel | The Holiday Inn Norwich North (previously the Hilton) is a modern hotel located just 4 miles from Norwich City Centre. This superb 4-star hotel has leisure facilities including indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and solarium. The hotel is located near the airport but, as it is away from the terminal and runway there is little aircraft noise. Bedroom windows are also triple glazed. Guest bedrooms are modern, spacious air-conditioned rooms. Although there is a lift, ground floor rooms are available on request, these include 3 disabled rooms with wet room bathrooms on request only. |
