Itinerary:
Tuesday
Depart Leyland at 07.30hrs for our journey to the Onich Hotel with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm Highland welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Wednesday
Today we head to Oban to board the ferry over to Mull. Amongst the Inner Hebrides, off the West Coast of Scotland lies the Isle of Mull, there are dramatic bays and beaches scattered along the three hundred miles of superb coastline, and this little island has great acclaim as having the greatest biodiversity of any place of comparable size in Britain! Enjoy a visit to Castle Duart, the ancient home of Clan Maclean, located on the eastern edge of Mull the castle has stood proudly for 700 years, our visit includes delicious tea and scones. While on Mull, visit to the picture-postcard town of Tobermory to take in the magnificent scenery of the Scottish Highlands from the beautiful bay neatly framed by brightly coloured buildings and high wooded hills.
Thursday
Today enjoy leisure time in Fort William, the 'Outdoor Capital' of the UK with a journey on the Nevis Range Mountain Cable Car. Enjoy A Ride Up Aonach Mòr Mountain to enjoy panoramic mountain views. The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola is the only mountain gondola of its kind in Britain, travelling up the north face of Aonach Mòr, the eighth-highest mountain in the UK. The gondola reaches the top station at 650 metres, offering visitors a scenic 15-minute journey with incredible views across Fort William, Lochaber and the surrounding Highland landscape.
Friday
Today is a long but exceptionally worthwhile day as we board a train in Fort William for the scenic journey to Mallaig, widely considered as one of the most spectacular rail journeys in the world, traversing the rugged Scottish Highlands and the dramatic West Coast. In Mallaig board a ferry to Skye where our driver will meet back up with you to take you for lunch. Take a scenic tour of Skye before heading back to the hotel by road with a photo stop at the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge en-route.
Saturday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
