Over the following days discover two of the area’s fascinating secret sites with visits to hidden gem Hughenden Manor, former home of Benjamin Disraeli and secret World War II map-making base. Explore Bletchley Park, home of the World War II Codebreakers, learn of the incredible achievements of these brave men and women as you walk in their footsteps in the secret place where it happened

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Thame with a lunch stop at RAF Cosford en-route. Depart Cosford at 13.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Following a leisurely breakfast, we head to Thame for a visit on market day, one of the most frequent filming locations for the popular ITV series Midsomer Murders allowing time to explore and obtain lunch. Returning to the hotel mid-afternoon with time to relax and perhaps take a stroll. This evening, we enjoy a private dining experience with an after-dinner speaker on Secret Sites.
Wednesday
Today we head into the Chiltern Hills making a stop in picturesque Amersham, brimming with culture and history, location for over 50 movies including Four Weddings and a Funeral staring Hugh Grant, with a vibrant shopping and culinary scene we allow time to explore and obtain lunch. Re-join the coach at 13.00hrs, continue our scenic journey into the Hughenden Valley to visit Hughenden Manor and Gardens, discover the former country home of Queen Victoria's favourite Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, learn of the manor's secret World War II history as part of operation 'Hillside'.
Thursday
Following a leisurely breakfast join us on a visit to Bletchley Park Museum and heritage attraction, home to the Codebreakers of World War Two, enjoy a guided tour and time to explore freely. Enjoy this fascinating day out, wander faithfully re-created WWII rooms uncovering Bletchley Park's secrets and wonderful stories.
N.B as part of the guided tour is outside, please dress for the weather with sensible footwear.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to begin our journey home with a lunch stop at the National Memorial Arboretum en-route. Depart at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
