Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to the 4-star Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa with a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum en-route allowing time to explore and obtain lunch, re-join the coach at 14.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel. Arrive to a warm welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits while your case is taken to your room.
Following a leisurely breakfast travel the short distance into Shrewsbury to enjoy a wonderful relaxing River Severn cruise on Sabrina Boat with commentary and tea/coffee and biscuits onboard, followed by free time to explore this historic town crammed with wonderful places to visit. The Market Hall is a great vibrant place, visit tastebud tingling eateries and inns that are dotted around the picturesque market town. N.B due to lack of space walking aids cannot be taken onboard Sabrina Boat, they can be left securely on the pontoon, if any passenger requires no step access to the boat, please advise on booking so we can advise Sabrina boat to reserve seats on the middle deck.
Wednesday
Following breakfast Llangollen is our destination today, this morning we head to Llangollen Wharf to turn back time on a wonderful, relaxing horse drawn barge trip, mid-afternoon take a single journey on the Llangollen Railway from the picturesque Victorian station in Llangollen to Corwen, travelling through some of the most beautiful scenery in Wales remaining close to the river as the train meanders through the Dee Valley.
Thursday
Following a leisurely breakfast, we head out on a scenic drive of Shropshire with stops in the historic towns of Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth allowing time to obtain lunch and to explore.
Friday
Check out of out hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a lunch stop in Oswestry en-route, re-join the coach at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.

| About the hotel | The Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa is just 4-miles outside of Shrewsbury. The 18th century manor house is nestled within 15 acres of grounds that include an ornamental lake. Take time to relax in the heated indoor swimming pool. There is a wonderful Spa and treatments available at the hotel (additional charges apply and must be booked and paid for by the customer directly with the hotel). Our superior guest bedrooms are beautiful, contemporary rooms offering a calming and relaxing place to stay. N.B the hotel does have some double rooms with walk-in showers (no twins) these are on request only at time of booking, they are in the Stable Block of bedrooms 100yd walk outside from the main building. The hotel does have some ground floor bedrooms, again on request only, they do have a minimum of 6 steps to negotiate. Rooms for group bookings are normally allocated in the Lakeside (unless a customer upgrades or requires walk-in showers) in Lakeside there is lift access to all floors, please be aware that there are still 6 steps to negotiate if accessing from reception and 26 steps if accessing from within the hotel. |
