Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09:00 for our journey south to Sidmouth, with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the Kingswood Hotel to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Monday to Wednesday
Free time in Sidmouth with the following excursions:
Morning free in Sidmouth with time to explore, join the coach at 12noon, this afternoon our excursion takes us inland to Exeter, Devons wonderfully historic county town, enjoy free time to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps visit the Cathedral, The Royal Albert Museum and Gallery or Exeter's Underground Passages for something different, with great shopping and a mouthwatering foodie scene there's something for everyone.
Morning excursion to Exmouth where we board a Stuart Line Cruise to enjoy the natural beauty and nature of the River Exe Estuary, followed by free time in Exmouth, the historic coastal gem at the mouth of the River Exe Estuary, return to the hotel mid-afternoon.
Following a leisurely breakfast join the coach for a journey along the Jurassic Coast to the seaside and fishing harbour resort of Seaton, take a journey on the heritage narrow gauge Seaton Tramway through East Devon's glorious Axe Valley, travelling alongside the River Axe Estuary, through 2 nature reserves offering unrivalled views of the wading birdlife. On arrival in Colyton enjoy a delicious Devon Cream Tea before re-joining the tram for the return to Seaton.
