Itinerary:

Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to the Bridgewood Manor Hotel in Chatham with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive to a warm welcome with tea/coffee on arrival while your case id taken to your room.

Tuesday - Thursday

Travel to the picturesque medieval market town of Faversham with no less than 300 listed buildings, including a stilted Guildhall and extraordinary industrial past, once manufacturing gunpowder that was used in the battles of Trafalgar and Waterloo. Today you can browse the market and a wide range of independent shops, galleries, inns, and tea rooms that line the historic marketplace and quayside. Take time to explore, allowing time for lunch before returning to the hotel mid-afternoon.

Spend a wonderful day at Chatham's Historic Dockyard, a place like no other, with 400 years of heritage and 80 acres to explore we have enhanced our day with a guided tour on board the coach. For fans of the hit BBC series Call the Midwife, walk in the footsteps of Nurse Trixie Franklin, Sister Julienne and Dr Turner and explore where the real drama happens on a wonderfully entertaining official location walking tour. Relax and take a breather at the Mess Deck restaurant or the Wagon Stop canteen. A great day out.

Morning free at the hotel to relax and enjoy the leisure facilities, join the coach at 12.30hrs as we travel the short distance to historic Rochester allowing time to obtain lunch, uncover centuries of history and heritage, walk in the footsteps of Victorian novelist Charles Dicken's who lived in the area as a child. Perhaps visit Rochester Cathedral, or wander High Street packed with quaint, independent shops, cosy cafes and wonderful restaurants.
