Enjoy scenery of red cliffs, secluded wooded hills and magnificent bay of Babbacombe with beautiful beaches, coastal path walks, great attractions, and local seafood. If you can pull yourselves away from this beautiful resort, join us on our excursions to the nearby resort of cosmopolitan Torquay and along the coast to Sidmouth, the hidden gem of the Jurassic Coast. Travel inland through beautiful mid Devon scenery, if you love local history Tiverton is brimming with heritage waiting to be discovered. Sit back, relax, and enjoy as we take a very leisurely journey through beautiful scenery, surrounded by wildlife on the Grand Union Canal, travel on a brightly painted barge drawn by a magnificent heavy horse, a little slice of heaven in Devon.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey south to the English Riviera and our hotel in Babbacombe with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday-Thursday
Free day in Babbacombe, perhaps stroll along the highest clifftop promenade in the UK, take a trip on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway or visit the model village.
Following breakfast, we travel the short distance into Torquay where we will spend the morning at leisure allowing time for lunch, in the afternoon journey along the coast to Sidmouth allowing time to explore, perhaps take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque promenade, enjoy stunning views of the red cliffs, English Channel and charming Regency architecture.
Today's excursion takes us through beautiful Devon countryside for a morning visit to Tiverton allowing time to explore and obtain lunch, in the afternoon we enjoy a 'little slice of heaven in Devon' as we take a leisurely journey on the beautiful Grand Western Canal in a brightly coloured barge pulled by a magnificent heavy horse.

Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
