Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to the Beaufort Hotel in Flintshire with an excursion to Bodnant Gardens en-route with time to explore and obtain lunch. Bodnant awakes from its winter sleep, the Welsh national emblem makes a welcome arrival with swathes of golden daffodils filling meadows and glades. Depart Bodnant Gardens at 15.00hrs, continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm Welsh welcome with tea and Bara Brith on arrival while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today a drive through pleasant countryside brings us to historic Chester. Walk in the footsteps of Roman soldiers as you explore the city, perhaps take a walk on the city walls, explore the unique 'Rows' of two tiered shops or meander down to the River Dee to enjoy lunch in a riverside inn, the choice is yours. Later we enjoy a sightseeing cruise on the river with commentary about the local area and its history.
Wednesday
Today's excursion takes us on a scenic drive along the North Wales coast to the picturesque Victorian seaside town of Llandudno. North Wales's premier resort is guarded by the bulk of Great Orme and Little Orme. Perhaps take the cable car up Great Orme to enjoy the stunning views, stroll along the wide promenade to take in the sea air or enjoy some retail therapy in pretty arcades or the main shopping street which runs parallel to the seafront. Depart Llandudno at 15.00hrs to return to the hotel.
Thursday
Following breakfast this morning's excursion takes us across the Denbighshire Moors, the pretty Vale of Conwy, via Llanrwst to Betws-y-Coed, a picturesque village set in a beautiful Valley in the Snowdonia Forest Park, here we take a break allowing time to explore and obtain lunch. Re-join the coach at 13.00hrs to continue our journey through pretty countryside to Llangollen, in the Dee Valley where we make a stop, depart Llangollen at 15.30hrs to continue our scenic journey back to the hotel across the spectacular Horseshoe Pass.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast before heading home today's excursion takes us to Vibrant Liverpool. From the Beatles to Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Liverpool is the cool, vibrant UNESCO City of Music. Join us on our own 'Magical Mystery Tour ', a knowledgeable local guide will join us on the coach for a panoramic tour of this amazing city with visit to Anglican Cathedral, includes Beatles highlights Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, Home of John Lennon, and Home of Paul McCartney with photo stops at all four locations (admissions NOT included). Followed by free time in the city, perhaps continue your Beatle's journey with a visit to The Cavern. Re-join the coach at 15.30hrs to continue our journey home.
