Our wonderful 4-star hotel is close to the border with Northern Ireland which is where we will concentrate most of our tour. Journey through the beautiful countryside of this magnificent area filled with national forest, lough and mountain ranges including a scenic drive to see the Mourne Mountains where St Patrick chose to settle. Join in the St Patrick’s Day celebrations with the locals in Dundalk. Visit Belfast City the capital of Northern Ireland including an unmissable visit to Titanic Belfast. Visit the beautiful medieval town of Carlingford on the shores of Carlingford Lough, featuring narrow streets dotted with historic and ancient relics. We even include some free time in Dublin before we head home.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for the first leg of our journey, head to Holyhead for our afternoon crossing to Dublin, re-join the coach in Dublin for our journey to Dundalk, arrive to a warm Southern Irish welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today we head to nearby Dundalk to join in the St Patricks Day celebrations, there will also be free time at the hotel today to relax and enjoy the facilities and magnificent surroundings.
Wednesday to Thursday
Following a leisurely breakfast join the coach at 10.30am as we head to the historic town of Carlingford, spend free time exploring this Irish gem, followed by a scenic drive via Newry and Warrenpoint to the Mourne Mountains returning to the hotel via Kilkeel.
Visit Belfast City, the capital of Northern Ireland including an unmissable and unforgettable visit to Titanic Belfast, with free time afterwards to immerse yourself in local heritage and culture or check out one of Belfast's many historical sites.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the first leg of our journey home, travel to Dublin where we will have a stop with time to explore before continuing to the port for our afternoon crossing to Holyhead, re-join the coach in Holyhead for our journey home.
