Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Holyhead with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Board the early afternoon Irish Ferries crossing to Dublin, disembark and continue our journey to the County Arms in Birr arriving to a warm Irish welcome, relax with a welcome tea/coffee as your bags are taken to your room.
Tuesday
La fheile Padraig sona ahuit or Happy St. Patricks Day - following breakfast join the coach as we journey to Tullamore to join in the St Patricks Day celebrations.
Wednesday
Free day today to relax, enjoy the hotels leisure facilities, wander the beautiful grounds and explore historic Birr. Join us for an Irish coffee making demo at the hotel today.
Thursday
Today our excursion takes us to Killaloe where we board a River Shannon and Loch Derg Cruise, sit back, relax and take in the breath-taking sights of Ireland's finest waterway nestled in Ireland's hidden Heartlands with interesting commentary onboard. We will also have free time to explore the old-world town of Killaloe joined by a 13-arched stone bridge with its twin town Ballina, why not check out one of the towns cosy pubs and meet some of the friendly locals.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, travel to Dublin where we will enjoy a little free time with time for lunch before boarding the afternoon ferry for our journey to Holyhead. Re-join the coach in Holyhead as we continue our journey home.
