Itinerary:
Monday
Depart from Leyland at 09:30hrs to commence on our journey to Stratford with a lunch stop in historic Litchfield, Staffordshire en-route. Re-join the coach at 14.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today we visit Blenheim Palace and Gardens. Explore 11 gilded state rooms home to priceless collections with Palace hosts on hand to offer guidance, answer questions and even offer snippets of gossip from the palace's 300-year history, enjoy 200 acres of 'Capability Brown' landscaped parkland offering beautiful views, monuments and wildlife. Relax in magnificent Formal Gardens, including Water Terraces, Rose Garden and Churchill Memorial Garden. Visit the Temple of Diana, the romantic spot where Churchill proposed to his beloved Clementine Hozier.
Wednesday
Join us for a panoramic tour of the Cotswolds, with stops in Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford, allowing a little time to explore in each and obtain lunch before we head to the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens for an afternoon visit. With a Victorian Manor House as its heart, a large walled garden and a wonderful collection of mature trees The Cotswold Wildlife Park allows you to get closer to nature, stroll eye to eye with graceful giraffes along the fabulous Giraffe Walkway and watch Rhino's graze on the manor house lawns. This the first UK zoo to successfully breed incredible Wolverines. Continue our scenic Cotswold journey back to the hotel via Broadway.
Thursday
Free day to explore Stratford-Upon-Avon, perhaps take a leisurely River Avon Cruise or visit one of the wonderful Shakespeare attractions, the choice is yours today.
Friday
Depart from our hotel following breakfast, to commence our journey home with a stop at the National Memorial Arboretum en-route. Depart at 14.00hrs to continue our journey home.
