Enjoy free time in the popular, Victorian seaside resort, the Jewel of North Wales, perfectly framed by two headlands, The Great Orme and the Little Orme. Perhaps take a San Franciscan style tramway or alpine cable car to the summit and the Great Orme Country Park to enjoy spectacular views. Take a leisurely stroll along the towns iconic, elegant promenade to admire the pastel-coloured, impeccably authentic seafront architecture just like the Victorian’s did, discover an array of entertainment including band stand and Llandudno's pier, the longest in Wales, which delights visitors young and old with a selection of traditional seaside entertainment or visit Mostyn Street for an eclectic array of shops and picturesque Victorian shopping centre or one of the towns cosy cafes and pubs. To enhance our tour, we’ve added visits to Plas Newydd House and Gardens, Portmeirion Italianate Village and a scenic journey through the Snowdonia National Park. Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Llandudno with a lunch stop in Chester en-route allowing time to explore and obtain lunch.
Tuesday - Thursday
Free day in Llandudno with the following excursions:
Visit to Plas Newydd House and Gardens the enchanting mansion located on the Menai Strait with spectacular views of Snowdonia allowing time for lunch, followed by a visit to James Pringle Weavers shopping outlet, take a selfie under the sign of the place with the longest name in Europe, LLanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch but can you say it!
Travel along the coast via Caernarfon for our visit to Portmeirion, the Italianate village, filming location of the 60's cult TV series The Prisoner. set on a private peninsula off the Snowdonia coast this unique village enjoys shops, restaurants, gardens, beaches and 70 acres of woodland walks with estuary views waiting to be discovered. This beautiful and unusual village is where the Italian Riviera meets rural Wales with a riot of colour and architectural styles.

Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before we head home journey along the coast towards Bangor to take a scenic drive through Snowdonia National Park via the A5 Capel Curig, enjoy a stop in Betws-y-Coed with time to explore and obtain lunch before continuing our scenic journey via Ruthin home.
