Learn of the English grape harvest and methods of making English wine on a visit to the Chapel Down Winery with a tutored wine-tasting.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Kent with a lunch stop in Royal Leamington Spa en-route, departing at 13.30hrs continue our journey to the hotel where you will receive a warm welcome with tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today's excursion takes us to Leeds Castle, once home to no less than seven historic queens and over 900 years of history to uncover. Take in the glorious scenery as you wander through the gardens and parkland, marvel at the magnificent colours as they burst into a beautiful summer floral display. Return to the hotel mid-afternoon for time to relax and enjoy the hotel's facilities before our evening meal.
Wednesday
Following a leisurely start today's excursion takes us to the Kent coast with a visit to beautiful seaside town of Ramsgate with its lovely harbour, cafes and bars allowing time to explore and obtain lunch before visiting the Ramsgate Tunnels for a guided underground tour. (Please ensure you have a coat and sensible footwear).
Thursday
Today our journey takes us to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, famous as the epitome of an English country garden. Explore a series of garden rooms, each filled with different planting schemes and wonderfully unique designs. Designed by poet Vita Sackville West and her husband, Harold Nicholson who moved here in 1930. The bold and bright Cottage Garden and the White Garden a refreshing contrast to the more colourful parts of the garden, just two of the garden room highlights. Following our visit head into the beautiful High Weald to visit Chapel Down Winery for a tour of the vineyard and tasting to conclude our day.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a lunch stop at Bicester Village shopping outlet, depart at 14.00hrs to continue our journey home.
