Take a narrowboat adventure to delve deep into the history of the Dudley Underground Canal. View the world’s largest collection of British cars on a visit to the British Motor Museum. With visits to Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon and free time in our host town Alcester this makes for a great new tour.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.30hrs for our journey to Alcester with a lunch stop at Trentham Shopping Village en-route, departing at 13.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel. Arrive to a warm Heat of England welcome with tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday -Thursday
Today's excursion takes us to the city of Warwick; the historic county town of Warwickshire lined with architectural gems and steeped in Medieval history. We also visit Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden today. With a story that spans nine centuries, explore the beautiful gardens with a backdrop of the romantic castle ruins. Theres an exhibition showing how the castle has changed over its 900-year history and a tearoom within the magnificent Tudor timber-framed stables building offering delicious cakes and light lunches, browse the second-hand bookshop and onsite gift shop.
Join us on a visit to the British Motor Museum to see the world's largest collection of historic British cars housing a collection of over 400 classic cars. Today also includes free time in Stratford-Upon-Avon, home of the Bard, William Shalespeare.
Today we hop aboard a narrowboat on an underground experience to delve deep into the past of the Dudley underground Canal. Cruise through 250-year-old tunnels, vast caverns, and basins brimming with wildlife on a skipper-led tour. This 45-minute trip is the best way to explore this hidden underground network. Dudley Tunnel is the second longest navigable tunnel in the UK, built 250 years ago, today we will see a small section of this testimony to Dudley's industrial heritage. Today we also have time to visit our host town Alcester, set at the junction of the Rivers Arrow and Alne, the historic market town has a charming high street and a host of cafes and traditional pubs.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before heading home visit Ashbourne in Derbyshire, the 'Gateway to the Peak District', with over 200 listed Georgian and Tudor buildings, winding cobbled streets with welcoming marketplace, independent shops, coaching inns and cosy cafes we allow time to explore and obtain lunch before departing at 14.00hrs to continue our journey home.
