Spend leisure time in Torquay, a traditional yet thriving seaside resort, with iconic palm-trees, busy harbour and international marina, with a great foodie scene of continental style cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars it makes for a perfect day out. During our stay a guide to join us on the coach for a wonderful tour of Dartmoor and its magnificent scenery, visit Tavistock and hopefully see some wild Dartmoor ponies with their foals for which Dartmoor is famous. Relax as we take a River Exe cruise and a scenic rail journey.

Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey to Torquay with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the Headland to a personal meet and greet from the hotel manager followed by tea/coffee and biscuits while your case is taken to your room.
Monday - Wednesday
Free day in Torquay with the following excursions:
Full day tour - with services of a local guide for a tour of Dartmoor area of open moorlands, deep river valleys, rich history and rare wildlife including the resident Dartmoor Ponies, with a stop in historic Tavistock and a visit to Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks, nestled in a picturesque Dartmoor Valley.
Full day tour - take a delightful cruise on the River Exe one way from Exmouth to Topsham, followed by a scenic rail journey from Topsham to Exmouth. A great and fun way to explore to of Devon's charming towns.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
