Itinerary:
Monday (Christmas Eve):
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey to Paignton with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at the hotel to welcome tea/coffee and mince pie. Our evening meal will be followed by live entertainment in the Sun Lounge from 20.30 - 22.30hrs.
Tuesday (Christmas Day):
Today we have a day of leisure to enjoy the hotel's leisure facilities and explore, tea/coffee and festive treats will be served in the Sun Lounge at 15.30hrs. This evening's meal is a traditional Christmas dinner followed by live entertainment.
Wednesday (Boxing Day):
This morning following breakfast we travel through beautiful South Devon countryside to visit the historic market town of Newton Abbott on market day, the Victorian indoor market is open today as well as the street market, perhaps visit Austin's department store, the family-owned store in the centre of town celebrating almost a century of trading. Return to our hotel mid-afternoon for tea and coffee and a biscuit with a Festive Quiz in the Sun Lounge at 16.00hrs. Our evening meal this evening will be followed by an optional theatre trip (cost not included in your holiday).
Thursday (New Year's Eve):
This morning following breakfast we journey the short distance around the bay to visit the pretty fishing town of Brixham with time to explore and obtain lunch. This evening put on your glad rags and dancing shoes and join us for a glass of sparkling Cassis in the Washington Bar at 17.30hrs followed by our evening meal and an evening of live entertainment.
Friday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to bid a fond farewell to the Palace, commence our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
