Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to the 4-star Holiday Inn, Bath Road with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to an early check-in of 15.00hrs allowing you time to relax before our evening meal.
Monday
This morning following breakfast we visit Windsor Castle, wander the grounds, State Apartments and beautiful St George's Chapel with audio guides included to enhance your visit. Followed by free time in Windsor before re-joining the coach at 16.00hrs.
Tuesday
Following a leisurely start head into the capital for a free day to explore, the coach will drop you on Tothill Street or Victoria Embankment which are in easy reach of the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Mall, St James's Park, Leicester Square etc. Re-join the coach at 16.00hrs for the journey back to the hotel.
Wednesday
This morning our excursion takes us to Kensington Palace, followed by free time to explore Kensington and the surrounding area. Perhaps visit the Natural History Museum or the V&A, take a stroll in Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens with photo stops at the Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall. If you wish to wander a little further Harrods is a pleasant 1/2hr stroll through the park and across to Brompton Road. Re-join the coach at 16.00hrs.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home, before heading back we make a stop at Covent Garden with time to explore, watch street entertainers and people watch, visit the historic market and boutique shops or find somewhere lovely for lunch. Depart Covent Garden at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
