Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Whitby on the Yorkshire coast with a lunch stop in Wetherby en-route.
Tuesday - Friday
Free day in Whitby with the following excursions:
Join the coach as we drop you at Whitby Station for a morning journey on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to Pickering, on arrival in Pickering enjoy free time to explore with time to obtain lunch before re-joining the coach at 14.00hrs to travel to the 'Yorkshire Gem', picturesque Thornton-Le-Dale, it may seen oddly familiar to some of you, the 17th century thatched Beck Isle Cottage has adorned many a chocolate box, Mathewson's in the village is the setting for the popular TV series Bangers and Cash.
Visit to Yorkshire Lavender, the first family run Yorkshire Lavender Farm, boasting spectacular lavender gardens in the pretty Howardian Hills with cream tea included before visiting the charming historic market town of Helmsley on the Southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors.
Relax at the hotel until noon, join us for a journey along the coast to spend an afternoon in Scarborough.
Saturday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a stop in Yorkshire's Food Capital Malton with time to explore and obtain lunch, re-join the coach at 13.30hrs to continue our journey home.
