Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to the 4-star The Vale Resort in the Vale of Glamorgan with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
This morning following breakfast we head to the Rhondda Valley for a Coal Mining Experience followed by a sandwich platter lunch at the Royal Mint, after lunch we take a guided tour of the Royal Mint Experience.
Wednesday
Today following breakfast our excursion takes us to Cardiff, the Welsh capital, spend free time exploring this wonderful city, with its many attractions including the castle, museums and a varied shopping scene, wander through high street favourites, individual stores and a thriving indoor market. The city centre offers a great choice of restaurants, cafes and delis. The bar scene here is legendary, from classy cocktail bars to traditional pubs serving real ales and craft beers, there's something for everyone. Return to the resort mid-afternoon.
Thursday
Spend the morning at leisure relaxing and enjoying the grounds and facilities at our resort, just before noon we head to Hensol Castle Gin Distillery for a Distillery Tour followed by an afternoon tea buffet in the beautiful surrounds of Hensol Castle.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to bid a fond farewell to our hosts at The Vale Resort, begin our journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
