Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 10.00am for our journey to Scarborough with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome with tea/coffee while your luggage is taken care of.
Monday
Today we have a day of leisure in Scarborough for you to enjoy the hotel and its leisure facilities, explore Scarborough or enjoy the coastal paths.
Tuesday
This morning following a leisurely breakfast we head north following the coast road to Whitby, the famous fishing port that was once the home of Captain James Cook. High above the picturesque harbour stands the 7th century Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula, we have time to wander the narrow streets and busy harbourside, allowing you time to perhaps sample the famous Whitby Fish and Chips, take a scenic journey back to Scarborough across the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with a stop in Pickering before returning to the hotel.
Wednesday
Today our excursion takes us to the historic city of York, enjoy free time in this wonderful city where the walls surround its wonderful attractions, with great shopping opportunities and a wonderful foodie scene. Depart York at 14.00hrs to return to the hotel mid-afternoon for time at leisure at the resort.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

| The Crown Spa Hotel is located along The Yorkshire Coast just metres away from the Sandy South Beach. If you’re wanting to explore further Scarborough town centre and Scarborough Train Station are only a 10-minute walk away and the Scarborough Harbour, just 20 minutes away on foot. The hotel is equipped with activities to keep you entertained while on your break such as a Luxury Leisure Centre and Spa where you can relax, and of course The Gym (spa treatments are not included however the hotel offers 10%, off pre-booked treatments). The spacious, 4-star guest bedrooms are beautifully furnished rooms, well equipped with little extras like the bathrobes to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. |
