Get into the Christmas spirit with a great package of festive fayre and entertainment and even a gift from Father Christmas. Spend free time in the traditional, thriving seaside town with a busy harbour and international marina, birthplace of crime writer Agatha Christie. Explore Torquay’s eclectic mix of shops from boutique and gift shops to favourite high street and independent stores, make a pit stop in one of its many cafes and bars. During our stay we will visit the magnificent Georgian splendor of Saltram House, journey through magical, luxuriously decorated rooms adorned with extravagant decorations, thousands of twinkling lights and the most beautiful baubles to create the magic of Christmas past. Travel to the edge of Dartmoor to a picturesque valley for a visit to Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks. Don’t miss out on this wonderful festive tour to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.30am for our journey to Torquay with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm welcome with tea/coffee while our luggage is taken care of. This evening we enjoy a glass of Bucks Fizz or Sherry before dinner.
Tuesday - Thursday
Leisure time in the resort with the following excursions:
Following breakfast we visit Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks, located in a picturesque valley on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, allowing time for lunch. Returning to the hotel for free time.
Following a leisurely breakfast spend the morning at the hotel or exploring the local area allowing time for lunch, join the coach at 13.00hrs as we journey to visit Saltram House beautifully decorated in all its elegant glory for Christmas.
Friday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
