Visit the picturesque, historic, chocolate box city of Brugges, the capital of West Flanders, wander cobbled streets crisscrossed with iconic canals lined with wonderful architecture. Explore the vibrant, cultural, city of Ghent. The canal threaded Flemmish city offers everything from Design Museums and food markets to quirky bars brewing a range of tasty Belgium beers. The city’s medieval heart is crammed with magnificent architecture and winding, canal side paths with hidden gems at every corner. Return overnight ferry crossings Hull/Rotterdam, Rotterdam/Hull (rate based on 2 berth inside cabin for single occupancy or 4-berth inside cabin for two people sharing –beds will be side by side).

Itinerary
Saturday
Depart Leyland at 14:00pm for our journey to Hull where we will board our overnight ferry to take us on a mini cruise to Rotterdam, once onboard disembark the coach (we suggest taking an overnight bag so that your main case can be left on the coach, make sure you pack essentials, medication etc in your overnight bag). We will have dinner onboard the ferry, enjoy the onboard entertainment before retiring to your cabin for the night.
Sunday
Following breakfast on-board the ferry, re-join the coach to disembark in Rotterdam continue our journey to Ostend our home for the next 4 nights, enjoy a lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the Leopold Hotel to a warm welcome, as we are bed and breakfast board basis, the rest of the day and evening are yours to explore the area, this is a great choice of hotel with eateries close by and within walking distance to suit every palate and pocket.
Monday
Following breakfast today's excursion takes us to the chocolate box city of Brugges, the capital of the West Flanders region, wander pretty cobbled streets, crisscrossed with canals lined with medieval architecture. Visit the picturesque squares with charming cafes, bars and restaurants and the best chocolate shops in Belgium. Perhaps sample a Belgium beer on one of the outside terraces with a Belgium dish of Carbonnade Flamande and Belgium Fries or visit a street vendor for Belgium waffles. Whatever you decide to do, Brugges will not disappoint and will leave you wanting more.
Tuesday
Following breakfast we have a day of leisure in Ostend.
Wednesday
Following breakfast today's excursion takes us to the stunning Flemmish city of Ghent, packed with museums and history, alongside wonderful restaurants, and shopping opportunities. Ghent is small enough to feel cosy yet big enough to be vibrant. A wonderful eclectic mix of old and new, enjoy exploring one of Belgium's oldest cities, with wonderful examples of medieval and classical architecture alongside Ghent of today which is quirky, trendy and modern.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to begin our journey to Rotterdam with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Continue our journey to Rotterdam to check in at the port, once onboard the ferry (don't forget your overnight bag) enjoy an evening meal and onboard entertainment before retiring to our cabins.
Friday
Following breakfast onboard the ferry re-join the coach as we disembark in Hull to continue our journey home.
