Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Inverness with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm Scottish welcome, before our dinner this evening we enjoy a mulled wine and mince pie welcome reception, following dinner will be an evening of entertainment.
Monday
Today following breakfast, we have a day of leisure to enjoy the hotel and its leisure facilities and discover the capital of the Highlands our base, Inverness. Perhaps visit the famous landmarks including the castle and cathedral or browse amongst the stores in the Victorian indoor market. Lunch is provided today at the hotel and tea and cream scones will be served later in the afternoon in the lounge. Dinner this evening is followed by entertainment.
Tuesday
Following breakfast enjoy a scenic journey through the Scottish Highland's to Aviemore where we take a break to explore, enjoy the scenery and our packed lunch from the hotel. In the afternoon we head to the Highland Wildlife Park, home to the famous Scottish Wildcats and other interesting animals, including the Red Panda. Return to the hotel for dinner followed by entertainment.
Wednesday
Following breakfast this morning's excursion takes us to the banks of Loch Ness with a visit to The Loch Ness Centre, discover stories and the history behind the legend of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster. After our visit return to Inverness to enjoy lunch at the hotel. Following lunch enjoy free time in Inverness or relax and enjoy the hotels leisure facilities. Head to the bar to join in the Christmas Jumper Competition - the more festive, Christmassy and over the top the better! With a bottle of wine for the winner! Dinner this evening is followed by a final night of entertainment.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
