During our stay visit the magnificent Minster city of York, vibrant and historic with Roman roots and a Viking past, where ancient city walls surround its many wonderful attractions. Spend a day in Leeds, make the most of the city’s fantastic shopping opportunities and grab yourself a bargain. Itinerary
Friday
Depart Leyland at 09.30am as we head to Harrogate, en-route we visit Skipton on market day, continue our journey to the hotel. Arrive to a warm Yorkshire welcome with tea/coffee and mince pies while our luggage is taken care of.
Saturday
Today we have a free day in our host town, the historic, Victorian town of Harrogate. Shop in the stylish shops that line the cosmopolitan streets, why not treat yourself and book an afternoon tea or something scrumptious for lunch or just relax at the 4-star Crowne Plaza.
Sunday
Following a leisurely breakfast today's excursion takes us to York to spend free time in the historic, minster city, allowing time to explore, have lunch or visit one of the cosy inns or many attractions within the ancient city walls, York has so much to offer, you won't be disappointed. Re-join the coach at 15.00hrs to head back to Harrogate with time to relax before our evening meal.
Monday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast, before travelling home we journey to Leeds, allowing time to explore, shop and for you to get some lunch. Re-join the coach at 16.00hrs as we continue our journey home.
