This tour includes wonderful attractions for you to visit, fall in love with the breathtaking New Forest, surrounded by nature, wildlife and wonderful Autumn colours with visits to two of its 5-star attractions, take a trip back in time to the 18th century in the heart of the New Forest as we discover Bucklers Hard Museum, with a tranquil river cruise down the Beaulieu River included followed by a visit to Beaulieu Estate, uncover 800 years of heritage on this wonderful site that includes a stately home, the world famous motor museum and 13th century abbey all surrounded by magnificent gardens that change with the seasons. Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Bournemouth with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the 4-star Art Deco Cumberland Hotel to a warm welcome with tea/coffee while our luggage is taken care of.
Monday-Wednesday
Free day in the resort with the following excursions:
Full Day - Today we take a scenic drive into the New Forest to witness the beautiful autumn colours as the forest waves goodbye to summer, with visits to the 18th century ship building village of Bucklers Hard with a 30min River Beaulieu cruise included and the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, not just for fans of the motor, Beulieu offers something for everyone from the Abbey and Palace, to the hundreds of stunning sculptures showcased throughout the Victorian gardens, grounds and the Palace House, enjoy unlimited rides around the site on the open top veteran bus and Britain's oldest monorail complete with spectacular views and commentary.
Half Day - Today we head to Poole and its historic quayside, discover the Old Town and its maritime past, allowing time for lunch before we head back to Bournemouth mid-afternoon for free time in the resort.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
