Spend free time exploring, for the shoppers why not visit the high-street stores or one of the many bars, cafes and restaurants or get wrapped up and take a beautiful Winter walk along the shoreline or up on the cliff tops to take in the views of the Jurassic Coast and the Isle of Wight or enjoy the facilities at the hotel and relax in the pool. During our stay we will visit historic Winchester the cathedral city of ageless beauty wrapped in history, home to one of Europe’s best Christmas Markets with the backdrop of the magnificent Winchester Cathedral. Journey through beautiful Dorset countryside to Wimborne Minster the charming market town dating back to pre-Roman times with some of the best collections of historic building in Dorset among independent shops, olde worlde inns and pretty cafes. Get into the festive spirit with friends old and new on this wonderful tour to blow away the winter blues.

Itinerary
Monday (Christmas Eve)
depart Leyland at 09:00 for our journey to Bournemouth with a suitable lunch stop in en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome with tea/coffee while our luggage is taken care of. Dinner this evening is followed by festive entertainment.
Tuesday (Christmas Day)
Free time for yourself today to enjoy Bournemouth or make the use of the hotel's leisure facilities. From 10.30am quiz sheets can be collected from reception, get your thinking caps on. At 15.30hrs join us back at the hotel for Sherry and Christmas Cake along with guess the weight of the cake competition., then its eyes down for a full house with an afternoon of Bingo. Tonight's evening meal is traditional Christmas fayre followed by entertainment and dancing in the lounge bar.
Wednesday (Boxing Day)
Following a leisurely breakfast, collect today's quiz sheet from reception at 10.30am before joining the coach for today's excursion for a scenic drive to Winchester to spend time exploring and enjoying the Christmas market allowing time for lunch before returning to the hotel mid afternoon.
Thursday (New Years Eve)
Following breakfast, hand in your quiz answers to reception for marking, winner will be announced this evening, so fingers crossed.
Join the coach for a morning visit to the town of Wimborne Minster, this charming and beautifully preserved market town on the banks of the Rivers Stour and Allen dates to pre-Roman times, home to the Minster church and some of the best collections of historic buildings in Dorset, the town has an array of independent shops, olde worlde inns and cafes, something for everyone. Depart at 13.00hrs to head back to the hotel. This afternoon 14.00-16.00hrs join us for a Tea dance with festive entertainer. Warm up with a nice cup of tea and mince pie while enjoying the entertainment. From 17.00hrs Start the New Years celebrations with a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz in the lounge Bar. Dinner this evening is followed by your final night of entertainment, fancy dress is more than welcome.
Friday - Check out of our hotel following breakfast to commence our journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route
