Book NowJoin us as we head to the German capital for our Summer in Beautiful Berlin Tour. You will have plenty of free time to explore this beautiful, exciting, historic, and diverse city. Discover museums and memorial sites, wander and explore endless shopping possibilities from high-class boutiques to hip Berlin style shops. Be sure to visit popular food markets to taste local produce and perhaps head out of the city on the great public transport links. During our stay in Berlin take a guided tour to learn of the history and progression of the city. Visit the iconic TV Tower, take a leisurely cruise along the River Spree, visit the Jewish Museum to explore the history of Jewish life in Germany and Berlin past to present, with guided visits to Sachsenhausen, one of the first concentration camps established by the Third Reich and Charlottenburg Palace to discover the story from summer residence to city palace, this all makes for a great tour with something for everyone. Berlin is always very popular so book early to avoid disappointment.

Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 14:00 for our journey to Hull to catch the 20:30 overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Enjoy dinner and entertainment on-board before retiring to your cabin. (We suggest taking an overnight bag so that your main case can be left on the coach, make sure you pack essentials, medication, valuables etc in your overnight bag, as access to the coach will be prohibited throughout the crossing).
Monday
This morning following breakfast onboard we re-join the coach to disembark in Rotterdam. Continue our journey to Berlin with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at The Leonardo Hotel, Berlin Mitte our home for the next 6 nights late afternoon. As we are bed and breakfast board basis, the city is yours to explore with many bars, cafes and restaurants serving food within proximity the choice is yours with a great selection to suit every palate and pocket.
Tuesday
This morning following breakfast our guide will meet us at the hotel, joining us for the morning on the coach, starting with a tour of the city to take in the sights and sounds of Berlin, from the infamous Berlin Wall to the stunning architecture of the city. We will enjoy some free time before heading over to the iconic TV Tower which dominates the city's skyline. The rest of the day and evening is yours at leisure with free time to explore.
Wednesday
Today enjoy breakfast and a day of leisure in this wonderful city.
Thursday
This morning following breakfast our excursion takes us to the River Spree to enjoy a leisurely river cruise, sit back, relax and take in the sights and sounds of this wonderful city from the water. This afternoon we visit the Jewish Museum, discover the history of Jewish life in Germany through the ages with a guided tour. Followed by free time.
Friday
Following breakfast our guide joins us again for the full day as we head out of the city to Sachsenhausen, one of the first concentration camps established by the Third Reich, standing as a reminder of the POW's that never left. This afternoon our journey takes us to the stunning Charlottenburg Palace, this Baroque style palace was the summer home of Sophia Charlotte, the first Queen of Prussia. Head back into the city where the guide will bid us farewell. Enjoy the rest of the day and evening of free time.
Saturday
Today enjoy breakfast and a free day in Berlin. Why not board one of the wonderful forms of public transport and head out of the city, take a journey to Potsdam once the residence of Prussian kings and German Kaisers, a magnificent site of parks and palaces, the largest World Heritage Site in Germany. Almost half of the city of Berlin is green, open space, why not visit one of its 2500 wonderful parks and gardens, even the former Tempelhof Airport, built by the Nazis has now been transformed into a public park. Perhaps join a Hop On Hop Off bus, maybe visit Berlin Zoo, the oldest Zoo in Germany along the way. There are plenty of wonderful attractions to fill your day and night, Berlin will not disappoint.
Sunday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to bid farewell to Berlin and commence our journey to Rotterdam to board the overnight ferry back to Hull with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Board the overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Enjoy dinner and entertainment on-board before retiring to your cabin. Following breakfast onboard the ferry, re-join the coach to disembark in Hull and continue our journey home.
