Join in the festival atmosphere and watch the amazing floats, some 9-meters tall and 19 meters long, from our grandstand seats. In the southern Netherlands they are crazy about their flower parades with this being the largest flower parade in the world. Born from a tradition passed down the generations, this unique day is a wonderful experience to be part of. During our stay in the Netherlands visit historic cities famous for their cheese and explore one of the country’s oldest fortified medieval cities. Return overnight ferry crossings Hull/Rotterdam, Rotterdam/Hull (rate based on 2 berth inside cabin for single occupancy and 4-berth inside cabin for two people sharing –beds will be side by side).

Itinerary
Wednesday
Depart Leyland at 14:00pm for our journey to Hull where we will board our overnight ferry to take us on a mini cruise to Rotterdam, once onboard disembark the coach (we suggest taking an overnight bag so that your main case can be left on the coach, make sure you pack essentials, medication, valuables etc in your overnight bag as access to the coach once onboard will be prohibited). We will have dinner on the ferry, enjoy the onboard entertainment before retiring to your cabin for the night.
Thursday
Following breakfast on-board the ferry, re-join the coach to disembark in Rotterdam continue our journey with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive in Tilburg and our luxury 4-star resort hotel, our home for the next 4-nights, receive a warm welcome with time to unpack and freshen up before our evening meal.
Friday
Following breakfast this morning's excursion takes us to 'S-Hertogenbosch, one of the oldest medieval cities in the Netherlands and the capital of Brabant. This magnificent 12th century fortified city is a gem with its Gothic cathedral and rich merchant's houses. Don't miss out on the museum quarter, perhaps take a canal boat trip on the waterways underneath the city. Wander a maze of narrow medieval streets and alleyways. Watch the world go by from a table at one of the many outdoor cafes and restaurants, for lovers of sweet treats perhaps order the Den Bosch delicacy Bosschen Bollen with a coffee. Allowing time to explore and have lunch before returning to the resort.
Saturday
Say Cheese! This morning following breakfast take a scenic journey to the picturesque town of Woerden the first of the Netherlands cheese cities that we will visit today. Woerden is the historic capital of the Green Heart of the Netherlands, a fortified city with a Roman history, discover museums, windmills and mills, cheese shops and market, allowing time to explore with time for lunch, before continuing our cheese journey to Gouda, the city of cheese in the Netherlands with much more than cheese to offer, discover the beautiful historic city, visit the central square with iconic town hall and marvel at the beautiful stained-glass of Sint-Jans church, visit cheese shops or watch the world go by from a pavement café.
Sunday
Today is Parade Day! Following breakfast today's excursion takes us to the picturesque town of Zundert to soak up the festival atmosphere and see the huge masterpieces from our grandstand seating, marvel at the dazzling floral floats, full of hand-made creations of glorious dahlia blooms, created and built by volunteers from twenty surrounding hamlets, each participating in the magnificent Bloemencorso. Experience these magical events and join in the festivities, with music and street performers to enjoy, local bars and restaurants join in the fun too with special activities and special offers all adding to the festival atmosphere.
Monday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to begin our journey to Rotterdam with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Continue our journey to Rotterdam to check in at the port, once onboard the ferry (don't forget your overnight bag) enjoy an evening meal and onboard entertainment before retiring to our cabins.
Tuesday
Following breakfast onboard the ferry re-join the coach as we disembark in Hull to continue our journey home.
