Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs with a lunch stop in Cheltenham en-route. Arrive at our hotel to a warm Somerset welcome while your luggage is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Morning at leisure at the hotel meet the coach at 11.30hrs as we make the short trip into Minehead to board a train to take a nostalgic journey along the heritage line of the West Somerset Railway, travel through beautiful Somerset countryside to the picturesque village of Bishops Lydeard, nestled at the foot of the Quantock Hills. Spend free time exploring the village and station before re-joining the coach in Bishop's Lydeard outside the railway station.
Wednesday
Following breakfast visit the medieval village of Dunster, discover a wealth of listed buildings and hidden treasures, allowing time to explore and obtain lunch before re-joining the coach as we return to Minehead for time at leisure.
Thursday
Take a lovely scenic journey through Exmoor National Park with a seaside visit to the picturesque twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, two beautiful villages connected by a heritage cliff railway, continue our journey with a stop in Barnstaple before returning to the hotel to relax before dinner.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a lunch stop in Worcester en-route.
