Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey to Folkestone, Kent with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
Full day - Full day tour - following breakfast travel though England's beautiful Garden of England to spend the day in Canterbury, in the morning we visit Canterbury Cathedral with a guided tour, includes access to the Cathedral Precincts, gardens and exhibitions. Following our visit spend free time exploring this magnificent city and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Discover rich heritage and culture, surround yourself with magnificent architecture in the medieval walled city with a great shopping and foodie scene you'll be spoilt for choice on this wonderful day out.
Wednesday
Half day - this morning following breakfast our excursion takes us to the Weald to visit the Tenterden estate of Chapel Down Winery for a guided visit to the vineyards and tasting, learn about the Vineyard cycle, the English grape harvest and the intricate process of Traditional Method sparkling wine along with tutored tasting. Followed by an afternoon visit to Tenterden, the 'Jewel in the Weald', discover a wealth of history, wonderful architecture, and great shopping opportunities.
Thursday
Long half day - Following breakfast we travel to Leeds Castle and Gardens, home to medieval Kings and Queens of England, take in the glorious scenery, colours, and scents of the beautiful gardens. Discover over 900 years of glamorous history, lavish parties, and stories of strong women from the 9th Century to the 20th Century. Return to the hotel mid-afternoon for free time.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
