During our stay journey through beautiful South Devon coast and countryside. Take nostalgic journeys by steam train, ferry and boat, travel along the coast of beautiful Torbay through stunning Devon scenery with views of the River Dart. Explore rich history and heritage of Dartmouth one of Devon’s most enchanting towns and vibrant, colourful Brixham where life centres around the harbour. Take a journey to the edge of Dartmoor to visit stunning Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks, beautifully nestled in a picturesque valley.

Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00am for our journey to Torquay with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday - Thursday
Free day of leisure in Torquay with the following excursions:
Take a wonderful excursion combining a return journey on the Paignton-Kingswear Steam Train, a foot ferry across the River Dart to Dartmouth (return) where we will take a circular cruise on the River Dart. With free time in Dartmouth.
Take a journey to the Edge of Dartmoor for a morning visit to Buckfast Abbey, in the afternoon travel to Brixham for free time before taking a ferry cruise from Brixham back to Torquay on The Western Lady which has been operating a fine ferry service between Brixham & Torquay for over 75 years. The 30-minute ferry ride across the Bay is a delightful way to view Torbay from the sea.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
