Watch the St Patrick’s Day Parade as it makes its colourful way through and Irelands ancient capital on the banks of the River Nore. The tour includes a day in Limerick to explore the wonderful city that straddles the River Shannon, filled with fascinating stories and rich history. Don’t miss out on this tour which celebrates the best of Irish culture and heritage.

Itinerary
Sunday:
Depart at 10.00hrs for our journey to Holyhead (with a suitable lunch stop en-route) board our 14.45hrs Stena Line ferry, crossing to Dublin, continue our journey to the County Arms in Birr arriving to a warm Irish welcome, relax with a welcome tea/coffee as your bags are taken to your room, freshen up and join us for our evening meal.
Monday (St. Patricks Day):
La fheile Padraig sona ahuit or Happy St. Patricks Day - following breakfast join the coach as we journey to Kilkenny to join in the St Patricks Day celebrations.
Tuesday:
Free day today to relax, enjoy the hotels leisure facilities, wander the beautiful grounds, and explore historic Birr. Join us for an Irish coffee making demo at the hotel today.
Wednesday:
Following breakfast, we visit Limerick, spend free time exploring the city allowing time for lunch, why not visit one of its free museums, or perhaps a gallery, St Mary's Cathedral or St Johns Castle. If you have a passion for fashion Limerick has a wonderful shopping scene. Take time out and relax, Limerick has a vast array of traditional Irish pubs, coffee shops and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.
Thursday:
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, travel to Dublin where we will enjoy a little free time with time for lunch before boarding the 14.45hrs ferry for our journey to Holyhead. Re-join the coach in Holyhead as we continue our journey home.
