Explore rich history and heritage of Dartmouth one of Devon’s most enchanting towns and vibrant, colourful Brixham where life centres around the harbour. Take a journey to the edge of Dartmoor to visit stunning Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks, beautifully nestled in a picturesque valley. This tour showcases this area beautifully, book early to avoid disappointment.

Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Torquay with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday - Thursday
Free day of leisure in Torquay with the following excursions:
Take a wonderful excursion combining a return journey on the Paignton-Kingswear Steam Train, a foot ferry across the River Dart to Dartmouth (return) where we will take a circular cruise on the River Dart. With free time in Dartmouth.
Take a journey to the Edge of Dartmoor for a morning visit to Buckfast Abbey, in the afternoon travel to Brixham for free time before taking a ferry cruise from Brixham back to Torquay on The Western Lady which has been operating a fine ferry service between Brixham & Torquay for over 75 years. The 30-minute ferry ride across the Bay is a delightful way to view Torbay from the sea. Spend free time in Torquay before re-joining the coach for the return to the hotel.

Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
