As well as being East Angliaûs premier beach resort, Great Yarmouth also has a fabulous maritime heritage and is a port famous for once being the hub of the herring industry.
ITINERARY
MONDAY
Depart Leyland at 0900 for the journey to Great Yarmouth
TUESDAY to FRIDAY
At leisure in resort with the following included excursions:
Morning visit to Norfolkûs county town, Norwich. After lunch travel to Wroxham for a cruise along the Norfolk Broads (fare included).
This morning we drive to the east coast resort of Cromer (break) then on to Sheringham to join our steam hauled train for the journey to Holt.
Half day visit Somerleyton Hall and Gardens, a Victorian Stately Home set in a beautiful 12 acre garden often used as a TV and film location (admission included).
SATURDAY
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey to Leyland.
