Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.30am for our journey to Alnwick with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Monday - Wednesday
Half day tour - morning visit along the coast to visit Lindisfarne (Holy Island) with stops on the return in Bamburgh and Seahouses followed by free time in Alnwick.
Full day tour- our Blue Badge Guide will join us on the coach for a guided tour into the beautiful countryside close to the Cheviot Hills of North Northumberland with visits to Ford and Etal villages, two wonderful hidden gems, with a look into Lady Waterford Hall in Ford.
Visit to the magnificent Alnwick Castle and grounds, the Castle will already be familiar to some of you as it featured in as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter films and as a filming location for ITV's Downton Abbey.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
