Royal Deeside, stretching inland from the east coast is a cultural and historic paradise containing such well known locations as Braemar, Crathie. It is a picturesque landscape of river, mountain and panoramic views with breath taking countryside. Castles and Malt Whisky distilleries are here in abundance.
ITINERARY
MONDAY
Depart Leyland at 0800 for the journey to Aberdeen.
TUESDAY To SATURDAY
At leisure in Aberdeen with the following included excursions
Full day excursion to the picturesque Moray Coast. We travel via Inverurie and Keith to Fochabers for a visit to Baxterûs Highland Village (lunch Break). Later join the Moray Coast Road and travel through Buckie and the delightful villages of Portknockie, Cullen and Portsoy to Banff returning to our hotel via Turrif and Oldmeldrum.
Full day excursion travelling along the south shore of the River Dee to Ballater (break). Continue to Braemar via the Linn of Dee. Return to our hotel via the north shore.
Full day excursion. We travel along the coast road to Stonehaven (short break), continue to Banchory (lunch break). Later we travel to Crathes Castle for an afternoon visit.
SUNDAY
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey to Leyland.
